Health Savings Account (HSA) HSA plans offer the ability to build up savings to pay for future medical expenses as a tax exempt savings account that is owned by you and managed by a financial institution. Providence Health Plans of Oregon offers 3 plans in Oregon. The 3 Optimum Plans provide the most comprehensive coverage. The Value Plans offer similar coverage to the Optimum Plans. They also have an HSA qualified plan option.

Assurant Health offers PPO and Traditional Medical Insurance polices in all of Oregon. This company only write plans for nonsmokers. They have Major Medical Plans as well as policies with office visit copayments and Prescription copayment options. They also have an HSA qualified Major Medical policy.
Kaiser Permanente Individual and Family Plans cover all of your health care needs—from primary care physicians and specialists to lab work and surgery—for a fixed monthly rate starting at about $99 per month. Oregon Medical Insurance Pool (OMIP) offers 4 plans to Oregonians. These plans fall into two categories. People with medical issues who are not insurable through other individual company plans, and those who need portability plan option due to medical issues.
The Family Health Insurance Assistance Program or FHIAP was created by the 1997 Oregon Legislature to help low-income Oregonians afford private health insurance. The program subsidizes or pays for a significant portion of a member's health insurance premium 95 percent of the premium for members. FHIAP does not help members pay for deductibles, CO-pays, or any other coinsurance associated with their health insurance plan.
