Healthcare Reform - Special Enrollment and qualifying events

Healthcare Reform - Annual Enrollment is Open!

At CDA Insurance, doing everything within our power to make sure that we provide you with the most current and up-to-date information about coverage that is available outside the Exchange. Annual enrollment will begin on November 1, 2015 and on that date companies will begin providing us with details about their rates and benefits. We will update this web site as the quickly as we can. The magnitude of the changes are huge, so please keep checking back with us. Health Savings Accounts

Since January 1, 2004 no new Medical Savings Accounts (MSA) may be opened, and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) have replaced them and have been available for all new accounts since that date.  For this, we recommend that you visit our HSA Section which is dedicated solely to Health Savings Accounts.  If you already know that you want one, you can view the HSA eligible plans from Regence, LifeWise HSA ,Moda Health, PacificSource, Providence and Kaiser's plans.

Oregon Short Term Health Insurance

When you find that new job, most employers have a waiting period before you are eligible for company benefits. Temporary Health Insurance was designed to help in these situations: between jobs; starting a new one; a new/recent college graduate; taking a semester off from college, if you are relocating to another area of the country, or waiting for Group coverage to begin.  In Oregon, Short Term Medical Insurance is generally available for 30-185 days and is designed to protect you from catastrophic medical bills.

We offer Group Health and Dental plans from Regence Blue Cross BlueShield of Oregon, Lifewise Health Plans of Oregon, Providence, Regence HMO Oregon, PacificSource (Pacific Source), United Healthcare, Health Net, Standard Life, Security Life, and others. Group Health Insurance is available for 2 or more people working for the same company. Many Partner and Husband and Wife businesses do qualify.
